A Bengaluru native, Vidwath Shetty burst onto the Indian poker scene with a win in one of the nation’s most high profile events – the Deltin Poker Tour 100k High Roller. Along with it pocketing over $55,000 USD for the win, Shetty got India’s tight-knit poker community to do a collective double take. He didn’t stop there though – parlaying this bankroll boost into a trip to the 2017 WSOP where he took down a Daily Deepstacks event for a further $14,244 USD. He’s back in India now and set to manage his home town’s GPL team to victory.

India’s first PokerStars Pro is the new team manager of the Kolkata Creators. Aditya is a well-known face in the international live and online circuit with over $700.000 in lifetime earnings. He’s a force on both the digital and live felt, and counts himself as one of the most successful online grinders in Indian poker history as well as a mainstay in the top echelons of the Indian poker community for almost a decade. Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal was the fifth team manager to be announced for the GPL India, but he’s definitely aiming for a higher finish in Season 1.
